We were first ISO certified in 2008 and have maintained that certification to this day. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a system designed to meet high quality management standards. This management system is used to ensure that products and services are meeting customer requirements, consistently, and that quality is consistently improved.

It’s just common courtesy, and we feel it is the right thing to do, and is an important part of the quality that comes from Cavist.

All projects are carried through production with our Traveler System. The Traveler allows us to crosscheck with raw material certificates for all shipments. It also tracks job times and give us the opportunity to identify process improvements.

We offer PPAP for specific automotive applications. The Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) is a standardized process in the automotive and aerospace industries. This process helps manufacturers and suppliers communicate and approve production designs and processes before, during, and after manufacture, to ensure that a supplier can meet the manufacturability and quality requirements of the parts supplied to the customer.

PFMEA and control plans

PFMEA and control plans can be implemented as well. A Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) is a structured analytical tool, a systemized group of activities, used by an organization, business unit, or cross-functional team intended to recognize and evaluate the potential failure of a product/process and its effect, identify actions which could eliminate or reduce the occurrence, document the process, and track changes to the process incorporated, to avoid potential failures.

ITAR Registered

The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) is registered with the US Department of State Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), and provides authorization to manufacture, export, or temporarily import defense articles or components used in military applications.

Founded as the Institute for Printed Circuits (IPC), is a trade association designed to standardize the assembly and production requirements of electronic equipment and assemblies. IPC standards are used by the electronics manufacturing industry.

IPC-101 covers the basics of hand soldering.

IPC-A-610 covers the acceptability of electronic assemblies.

IPC/WHMA-A-620 covers practices and requirements for what is considered acceptable quality workmanship for the manufacture of cable, wire and harness assemblies.
