Overmold for Wearable LEO Electronics
A leading manufacturer of wearable law enforcement equipment partnered with Cavist to create a 2-Shot Overmold solution for a point-of-view camera system for Law Enforcement Officers (LEO). The design challenges were immense, but Cavist was able to come up with a solution to move the product from prototyping and into high-volume production.
Overmolded Large PCBA
This overmolded circuit board stands about 11 inches from end to end and is an important part of a pedestrian traffic control system. It must survive outdoors with 100% reliability. This was a challenging part to mold, but the solution passed all testing.
Overmolded PCBA with Battery
A product that lives on the front of a race vehicle must be designed to withstand a rugged environment. This product has an RF module, an overmolded coin cell battery, and a fully populated PCB – all successfully encapsulated with overmolding material.
